GAH! I have like 5 pieces just sitting around ready to be scanned and/or colored, some even are ready to be submitted.

but I have been too lazy/busy/tired to do it. and when i have free time (like now), i'm in class and have no access to said pics.

o well.

on a more school related topic, my history of Graphic Design got dropped so now i'm left scrambling around trying to get int a history of photography class. should be interesting.

Corporate Designs going well, I've decided to revamp a place called Satellite Studios, my buddy owns it so I have pretty good access to it. And I am SLOWLY learning Flash for my Interactive Design class, both panning out pretty well.

My "advanced" Drawing class is pretty blarg. The Profs real concept heavy but not much else other than that.

Hopefully i'll have a stream of deviations to post soon.

started my illustration class today.

Got a few pieces in the works right now but I'm only really focusing on one.
It's funny but i was going through some of my older stuff and realized I don't really have a re-occuring character to call my own. sure i've got some that pop up here and now, but nothing that really just get drawn to death. i might try to rectify this sometime soon, not sure who, or what it'll be thou.

been getting pretty nostalgic lately ( i always do in the summer ) been re-readin the Harry Potter series. Then i'll probably move onto some changleing books i ordered last week, if they ever get in.

Besides playing another show at super happy funlad this Saturday thats all thats really going on in my life at the moment.

well it has been too long since i posted, and as usual it is because i am boggled down once again.

not to say that im not enjoying some of whats going on, but i digress.

Last weekend i went to the Texas Guitar Show and bought a new Epiphone Les Paul, i wish i could have afforded the Gibson version, but I've already replaced the humbuckers and it sounds even better!
I've been recording a lot lately, just experimenting and trying to get all my instruments and vocals to sound good, i'm kinda a one man band, but it seems to work. as of right now my "line up" of instruments consists of:
Fender Stratocaster
Epiphone les paul
Ovation acoustic
Washburn Mandolin
Casio Privia keyboard
Fender P-bass
and robota midi drums

its a work in progress but hopefully it will all come together.

in other news i ended up buying a 1 terabyte external hardrive for my laptop ( it only has 50 gigs)
I was starting to get pretty full on files and space but im fine now!

i know its a complete overhaul but i got it cheap and im not complaining.

classes are alright, with the exception of my art history class, as usual. the woman never ceases to amaze me at how utterly stupid she really is.

but that aside everything else is going pretty smooth.

So Ike is coming and everyone is in a general suspended hysteria, even at my school they have issued individual student wristbands to be able to identify us, or our bodies, if they need to. pleasant.

aside from that did some music recording today, got some work done, doing some more right now while i still have power.

im really hoping that my dorm doesnt lose power, my battery is dead and needs to be changed for it no longer chargers, also im not looking forward to scarfing everything in the fridge that might go bad( thou i have already started that process

i might break out my tablet later and do some sketching just to distract myself.

whoo! bring it on!
